Join the conversation to help motivate men to seek support in difficult times instead of just trying to "tough it out" in silence.

The Tackling the Challenge: Talking Men's Health exhibition is a unique and potentially life-changing exhibition to be launched at the Moss Vale Civic Centre's Atrium on Thursday 1 June from 2 pm - 3 pm.

The exhibit, run by South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and its project partners, aims to encourage Wingecarribee Shire's men and boys to share their experiences of dealing with dark times of personal crisis and also their journeys towards recovery.

On display will be photographs and stories from local men like Mark Tayar who have chosen to speak publicly in the hope of helping other men find their way.

This exhibition will coincide with Men’s Health Week from 12-18 June 2023 which is held annually to bring attention to the issues men face.

The Tackling the Challenge: Talking Men's Health exhibition will run for the entirety of June during the Civic Centre's opening hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. If you can't make the exhibition launch, drop in at any time during June to view the exhibition in your own time.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Registrations for the exhibition launch are not essential but will assist with catering. You are welcome to simply turn up on the day if you don't want to register but feel you could benefit from hearing other men's stories of getting through hard times.
