Every year, Wingecarribee Shire Council provides funding to eligible individuals, groups and not-for-profit cultural, recreational and community organisations for projects that align with our Community Strategic Plan. Community Financial Assistance Scheme Grant Funding Programs

Grant Applications Closing 31 July 2026

Round 3 of the Community Financial Assistance Scheme opened on 22 June 2026 and will close on 31 July 2026. This is the only round of grants Council will offer during the 2026-27 financial year. So, if you have a small-scale project in a local hall or a family-friendly event, Christmas celebration or grassroots initiative, now is the time to apply.

2025 - 2026 Recipients

The first round of the Community Financial Assistance Scheme opened in September 2025. During the Council Meeting on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, Council endorsed funding for 39 community projects - investing over $130,000 into our local community.
