Welcome to the Atrium: Council's Gateway to Art & Culture!

The Civic Centre Atrium is a vibrant space dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent of our local artists and fostering a deeper connection with art and culture in our community.

Every month, the Atrium hosts a new, fresh exhibition. Each monthly theme addresses a wide range of social and local concerns and perspectives, often aligning with significant calendar events like:

  • NAIDOC Week: Celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • International Day of People with Disability: Raising awareness, promoting inclusion and celebrating the contributions of people with disabilities within the creative arts.
  • Youth Week: Highlighting the talents, ideas and achievements of our young people.
  • Seniors Festival: Offering a program of events focusing on keeping seniors healthy, active and social.

And much more...

The Atrium Space

The Atrium, with its beautiful open design and natural light, provides the perfect platform for artists to showcase their work. Whether it's captivating paintings, thought-provoking sculptures, or inspiring photography, the space allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the artistic experience.
