Welcome to this month’s exciting and dynamic Atrium exhibition, Creating and Thriving 2025. Wingecarribee Shire Council is excited to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) on 3 December by inviting local artists with disability to exhibit their work in our grand finale December 2025 exhibition.

IDPwD is a United Nations Day observed internationally on 3 December each year. It aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

Our annual Creating and Thriving exhibition is back for December 2025 and January 2026, in time to convey a vibrant Christmassy, summery feeling of joy and celebration throughout the Atrium. Showcasing the creativity of our local artists and creatives living with disability, this show will once again inspire and delight audiences, highlighting some of the diversity and dedication of our Shire’s creative community.

The 2025 theme is “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress”. Artists associated with Creative Space, Rosnel Hostel, and other services around the Shire are some of the creatives who have contributed a wonderful collection of artworks for this uplifting multimedia group exhibition.
