MyInspect booking process
Step 1 - Provide mandatory documents
Inspections can only be carried out if ALL mandatory documentation has been received by the Council as per the Notice of Determination.
Documents must be emailed to development.support@wsc.nsw.gov.au.
Inspections can only be booked once ALL mandatory documents are received via email.
Documents required are:
Plumbing Inspections
- A Current Development Application (DA application number)
- Notice of Works, prior to works commencing
- Certificate of Compliance prior to final inspection
- Sewer Service Diagram prior to final inspection
- Outbuildings (e.g. Shed) - A Stormwater Draining Plan is also required
Building Inspections
- Notice of Commencement
- Builder's insurance or owner-builder permit
- Frame and truss details
- Engineering details for the slab
Solid Fuel Heater
- Completion of Works Certificate of installation
Septic
- Completion of Works Certificate of installation

No. Inspections cannot be carried out until all Mandatory documents are provided.
I lodge my application on or before 1 October 2025 do I need to pay for my inspections?
Yes. If applications have been lodged before 1 October 2025, all inspections will be required to be booked and paid for before the inspection.
Our team will guide you through the booking process and take payment over the phone.
I lodge my application on or after 1 October 2025 do I need to pay for my inspections?
No. Any applications lodged on the NSW Planning Portal on/or after 1 October 2025, included inspection charges at the time of lodgement.
Important: These exclude any applications relating to subdivisions. Inspections payment would be still be required for Subdivision applications at the time of booking your inspection.
When do I pay for my inspection(s)?
You MUST pay for your inspections over the phone at the time of booking. If you require a re-inspection an additional charge will apply and require payment at time of booking.
Our team will guide you through the booking process and take payment over the phone.
If your application was lodged on/after 1 October 2025, your inspections charges were included at the time of lodgement.
Do I need to pay for a re-inspection?
Yes. A reinspection will attract an additional charge which must be made at time of booking.
I have an urgent inspection booking. What can I do?
We are currently unable to guarantee a same day/next business day bookings.
