From Monday 3 August, the Customer Experience front counter and contact centre will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm. Calls after 4:00pm will be handled by Council's after-hours service, with urgent matters continuing to be supported. Many customer transactions can also be completed online via Council's website.

Have your Say on the new Draft DCP Council has prepared a new draft comprehensive Development Control Plan (DCP) for the Shire and is inviting community feedback. The draft DCP brings together the Shire's existing 17 DCPs into a single contemporary document that is easier to navigate, uses consistent language, and better aligned with current planning legislation, Council strategies and planning practice. The Draft DCP is now on public exhibition from 3 August until 15 September 2026 (inclusive). Community members and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft document and provide feedback through Council’s engagement platform, Participate Wingecarribee. The project page includes the draft DCP, background information, fact sheets, frequently asked questions and other supporting materials to help you understand the proposed changes. Information is also available on a series of community drop-in sessions being held during the exhibition period, where residents can meet with Council staff, ask questions, learn more about the draft DCP and participate in engagement activities. Feedback received during the public exhibition period will help inform revisions to the draft DCP before it is presented to Council for adoption. Council is also seeking expressions of interest from community members, businesses and industry representatives to join a DCP Working Group. The Working Group will provide a forum to discuss key themes emerging from public exhibition and support the review and finalisation of the draft DCP. Expressions of interest close on 10 August 2026.
