Missed bin collection or lost, stolen of damaged bins

 If your bin collection has been missed, your bin is damaged or your bins have been stolen, please contact JR Richards on 1300 133 969 or email JR Richards at wsc.info@jrrichards.com.au

Missed bins reported to JR Richards will be collected in the next 24-48 hours as advised. Please leave your bin on the kerbside for collection.

Missed bins need to be reported within 48 hours of the missed service.

Please note: Bins can be collected at any time on your scheduled bin day. Residents should place their bins out the night before their scheduled collection day. Placing bins out the night before helps avoid missed collections. Bins should be placed correctly at the kerb with lids closed, handles facing the property and clear of parked cars, trees, poles and other obstructions. If a bin is placed out after the truck has already serviced the street, it may be recorded as not presented and may not be collected until the next scheduled service.

Shared Bins (cost per unit)

Important Note: The charge for each unit is based on collection volumes of 80L garbage and 240L recycling collected on the agreed frequency.

For Example:

• 3 units are entitled to 1 x 240L garbage bin and 3 x 240L recycling bins 
•  11 units are entitled to 4 x 240L garbage bins and 11 x 240L recycling bins

Where communal garbage bins are issued, the service frequency provided to all residents must be the same. To change the frequency of the collection e.g. weekly to fortnightly, this must be requested through the Strata Manager and be based on all owners agreeing to the change. Proof of this agreement must be provided with the Change Request.

It is possible for the Strata Manager to request additional services based on shared need (e.g. additional garbage or organics bins). These services would be charged directly to the strata through the rates process.

Wheel in Wheel out service will receive an annual invoice for this service, calculated on a pro rata basis for the year. It is separate to the waste charges levied on the property. The cost is $2.30 per bin per service.
