Wingecarribee Shire Council will hold an Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, from 3.30 pm.

The Council Meeting Agenda can be viewed online at:   Council Meeting Minutes and Agendas.

Key highlights:

The following draft documents will be presented to Council at next week’s ordinary meeting to be endorsed for public exhibition:

  • Draft Operational Plan and Budget 2026/27
  •  Draft Fees and Charges 2026/27
  • Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2026-2036
  • Draft Asset Management Strategy 2026-2036

Together, these documents outline proposed services, projects and priorities Council intends to deliver in 2026/27 and how they will be funded. The documents also outline how Council will manage its finances and assets responsibly over the next 10 years.

Public exhibition will give the community an opportunity to review and provide feedback before Council considers adoption in June 2026.

In addition to the draft documents, Council will also note the Financial Sustainability Assessment and Financial Sustainability Business Case. The Business Case provides the strategic evidence base that informs the financial scenarios included within the Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) and supports Council’s ongoing work to strengthen long-term financial sustainability.

More information about Council’s financial sustainability work, including access to the Assessment, is available on the website: Financial Sustainability at Wingecarribee Shire Council.

Council will hold a Public Forum prior to the start of the meeting at 2.30pm. The Public Forum provides an opportunity for the public to speak on any item on Council’s agenda.

Applications to speak at the Public Forum must be submitted by 4.30pm on Monday, 13 April 2026. Register to speak: Public Forum Application Form.
