Public Education Week 2025 - Atrium Exhibition

Join us in August to celebrate Public Education Week (4 - 8 August) as part of our Atrium Exhibition Series.

As part of Public Education Week this August, public schools across the Wingecarribee Shire are proudly showcasing the remarkable learning, creativity and community spirit that thrive within our classrooms and beyond. Under the theme Ignite your potential, this special exhibition features a curated collection of photographs and student artworks that capture the energy and highlight the diversity, innovation and everyday excellence of public education in the Southern Highlands.

From vibrant cultural events and environmental initiatives to creative arts, sport and student innovation and leadership, our exhibition highlights and captures the everyday excellence that defines our schools and the opportunities we provide for every young person to thrive. We also celebrate the impact of public education through our strong alumni — individuals who began their journey in our local schools and have gone on to make meaningful contributions in a range of fields. 

This is a celebration of opportunity, inclusion and achievement — and a powerful reminder of the value and promise of public education and how public education ignites potential in every student, every day.
