Development Control Plans

Council is currently consolidating and reviewing its DCPs into one comprehensive Development Control Plan for the Wingecarribee Shire. To find out more and to be involved in this project, visit the Comprehensive DCP page on Participate Wingecarribee.

The Wingecarribee Development Control Plans (DCPs) provide detailed guidance and provisions for the use of land within the Shire, including the criteria for the assessment of Development Applications (DAs).

All Development Applications need to consider and respond to the relevant DCPs that applies to the land use and/or land subject to the application. 

Development Control Plans by Location and/or Land Use Zone

Use the table below as a guide to the most appropriate DCP for each land use zone or location. 

Rural Lands (Land zoned RU1 Primary Production, RU2 Rural Landscape, C3 Environmental Management or SP3 Tourist)

Rural Living (Land zoned RU4 Primary Production Small Lots or C4 Environmental Living)

Industrial Lands (Land zoned IN1 General Industrial, IN2 Light Industrial or IN3 Heavy Industrial)
