The CWA was formed in 1922 when country women were fighting isolation and a lack of health facilities. It is the largest women's organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children.
We reach our aims through lobbying for change, helping the local community, creating a network of support and meeting together in towns and cities. We empower and support women and their communities internationally through our International portfolio.
CWA Exeter Branch meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9.45am for friendship, fundraising and community engagement.
Meetings held in the Exeter Village Hall in Exeter. New members welcome, and all community members can participate in our various local activities.
