Where to dispose;
Shredded paper can be great for home composts and worm farms. Check out our home composting(PDF, 2MB) and worm farming(PDF, 5MB) flyers for more information.
Shredded paper can also be placed in the council provided recycling bin (yellow lid), however it must be placed in a paper bag first. This prevents littering in the street if paper falls out, and also assists in the sorting process. Shredded paper is also accepted free of charge at the CRC, which is located at the Resource Recovery Centre. The paper is then either baled on site or donated to local community gardens.
