The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy Atrium Exhibition 2025

Our exhibition, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, celebrates local First Nations artists and will feature a diverse range of multimedia works.

This beautiful exhibition highlights the creative talent of several First Nations artists and creative circles based in our Shire and concurrently celebrates NAIDOC Week (6-13 July 2025).

NAIDOC Week 2025 marks a powerful milestone: 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. The 2025 theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead for First Nations people, empowered by the strength of their young leaders, the vision of their communities, and the legacy of their ancestors.

Our NAIDOC Atrium exhibition will be on throughout July with the official opening on Monday 7 July as part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations. You can attend the exhibition any time the Civic Centre is open without a booking.

Some of the exhibited works are available for purchase, prices are provided on the room sheet. Interested buyers please email. 

Members of the public are always welcome to take photographs within the Atrium space, however we encourage people to credit the artists if they are posting online.

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.

The exhibition is open during Moss Vale Civic Centre hours from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
