Make a Difference Week 2026: Introduction to WSC Nursery

Nursery plants in a hot house

As part of Make a Difference Week, we’re coming together to care for our local environment.

You are invited to join us, for an informative morning in the nursery, showcasing how native plants are grown for local revegetation projects.

During the session, the team will provide a guided tour of the nursery, a demonstration on seed sowing and an introduction to seed sorting and preparation.

Participants will also learn how native plants are used to restore and protect our local environment.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about native species, conservation and the important role native plants play in supporting local ecosystems.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re completely new to nursery work or already have some experience. Join us for a rewarding and informative session exploring native plants, conservation and the role revegetation plays in supporting healthy local ecosystems.
