Important update: The November 2025 Household Chemical CleanOut event experienced very high demand. In response, increased operational capacity and improved arrangements will be in place this year with our collection contractor, Cleanaway, to help reduce waiting times. The Household Chemical CleanOut event is held annually for Wingecarribee residents to drop off their unwanted household chemicals free of charge, including cleaners, garden chemicals, paints, and batteries.

With bulk waste collection dates approaching, it's important to plan for how to dispose of problem waste or dangerous items that do not belong in bulky waste collection.

Wingecarribee's annual Household Chemical CleanOut event will be held on Sunday 17 May 2026 from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm at Council's Moss Vale Works Depot. Entry is via Parkes Road and exit via Berrima Road.

The safest way to dispose of potentially hazardous household chemicals is at a Household Chemical CleanOut event. These events are free services held across NSW on specified dates.
