Celebrate Aussie Bird Count & the Great Southern Bioblitz with Us! Join us at Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve for a fun morning of bird counting and biodiversity exploration, followed by a delicious BBQ breakfast! This special event brings together two exciting initiatives – the Aussie Bird Count and the Great Southern Bioblitz.

Take part in: 

• A bird count to help track our feathered friends.
• Guided nature walks to log local biodiversity.

Whether you're a bird enthusiast or a nature lover, there's something for everyone. Come along, connect with nature, and enjoy a great BBQ to top it all off!

• Time: 8:00 am - 11:00 am
• Location: Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve
• Activities: Birdwatching, guided walks, Bioblitz and breakfast

What to Bring:

• Binoculars (if you have them).
• Comfortable walking shoes.
• Hat and sunscreen.
• Mobile phone with the iNaturalist app loaded
