A completed Statement of Environmental Effects (SOEE) is required to accompany all Development Application (please include this form as an attachment on the NSW Planning Portal when submitting your application). Broadly, the SOEE details and explains the likely impacts of the proposed development and the proposed measures that will mitigate these impacts.
This template can only be used for small scale residential development (i.e. single dwellings, residential alterations and additions such as internal alterations, extensions, verandahs, carports, garages, shed, pergolas and swimming pools.)
Development not listed above will require an SOEE with greater detail. It is recommended that you engage the services of a suitably qualified town planner or consultant to assist.
