It’s no secret the Highlands is one of the best wine making regions in Australia or even the world. Sure, we’re biased, but our winemakers and distilleries definitely punch above their small region weight. Pop into a local cellar door or distillery to top up someone’s cellar or drinks trolley this Christmas.

We’re also blessed to have an abundance of fantastic cafes and restaurants serving up delicious stuff all year round. Most of them are happy to do up gift vouchers and who knows? Maybe your lucky giftee will invite you to join them. Tastes better than socks!

If you can, pay it forward and help brighten up the Christmas of someone doing it a bit tough this year. Donate to The Mayoral Giving Tree at Civic Centre in Moss Vale before 15 December. The local Salvation Army will distribute the gifts to local families and individuals. Such a nice way to give back, locally.
