Bong Bong Common Intersection

In May 2019, Wingecarribee Shire Council adopted the Bong Bong Common Masterplan to guide the future provision, development and maintenance of the unique open space of Bong Bong Common in Burradoo. The open space and park facilities are now complete and open for public use.

To provide improved traffic flow from the new additions to Bong Bong Common, Council is set to deliver an intersection upgrade. This will provide safe access with the addition of dedicated turning lanes from both the north and south for users accessing the Common, local residential access, and the entrance point to the National Parks and Wildlife Cecil Hoskin Nature Reserve.

Design for the intersection has been completed and approved by Transport for NSW. Fulton Hogan has been engaged by Council to undertake the work. Relevant pre-construction documentation is currently being reviewed by Transport for NSW once accepted construction will commence onsite.
