Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting local contractors to attend a free and informative procurement workshop on Thursday 28 May 2026, designed to build confidence in the local government procurement process and highlight future opportunities to work with Council.

Acting Chief Financial Officer, Katherine Parks, said the workshop would help local businesses better understand Council’s procurement requirements and strengthen their ability to compete for upcoming work.

“Local businesses play an important role in delivering services and projects across the Shire, and this workshop is about ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to put forward strong submissions.”

Topics will include:

  • How Council engages contractors and suppliers
  • How to find out about opportunities to work with Council
