Workshop to Navigate Council Procurement with Confidence

Wingecarribee Shire Council invites local contractors to a free workshop designed to strengthen understanding on the local government procurement process and maximise opportunities for future projects. 

The Local Contractor Procurement Workshop will take place on Thursday 27 November 2025, from 6pm to 7pm, at the Theatrette, located in the Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.  

The session will include:  

• An update on Council’s new Sustainable Procurement and Contracts Policy and what it means for local businesses. 

• Practical guidance from Local Government Contracts Australia (LGCA) on preparing and responding to Council quotes and tenders. 

Attendees will be encouraged to share feedback to help Council improve its practices with local contractors.
