Wingecarribee Shire Council will be carrying out pre-commissioning works for the new Eridge Park Road Water Pump Station from Monday 8 September to Tuesday 9 September 2025. No traffic impacts are expected on Eridge Park Road.

What to expect:

  • There will be no interruption to water supply.
  • Customers in Bowral, Moss Vale and Burradoo may notice minor and temporary changes in water pressure or discolouration.
  • If discolouration occurs: run cold taps (preferably outdoors, in the laundry or kitchen) for a few minutes to flush pipes. Avoid using discoloured water for laundry or cooking until it clears.
  • Council also has measures in place to manage water quality, including local network flushing if required.

Why this work matters:

This work is part of a critical investment in the region’s water infrastructure. The new pump station will improve the reliability and capacity of the water supply, particularly for the growing Moss Vale area, and allow water to be transferred south to Bundanoon and Exeter in emergencies. This strengthens the overall resilience and security of the local water network for years to come.
