Performance Improvement Order Concludes

Wingecarribee Shire Council advises that the Performance Improvement Order (PIO) issued by the Minister for Local Government on 19 September 2024 has now concluded, effective 19 September 2025. 

The PIO was put in place to support the transition from Administration to an elected Council, providing clear expectations around governance, financial management, and strategic decision-making during the first 12 months of the new Council term. 

Council remains committed to continuing the progress made under the PIO, with a focus on strong governance, responsible financial management, and delivering positive outcomes for the Wingecarribee community.
