Local Supplier Workshop Presentations
On 28 May 2026, Council held a local supplier procurement workshop, which included practical guidance around procurement and contracts, the procurement process and what an assessor looks for in submissions. It also covered what to include with your Request for Tender (RFT) or Request for Quotation (RFQ), where to access RFT and RFQ documents and the ethical standards and regulatory requirements that Council must follow. On 27 November 2025, Council held a local supplier procurement workshop, which included an update on Council's new Procurement Policy and guidance by Local Government Contracts Australia (LGCA) on how to prepare and respond to Council quotes and tenders.
