In May 2019, Wingecarribee Shire Council adopted the Bong Bong Common Masterplan to guide the future provision, development and maintenance of the unique open space of Bong Bong Common in Burradoo. The open space and park facilities are now complete and open for public use.

In collaboration with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), construction is to commence on a dedicated left-hand turning lane for southbound traffic and right-hand turn lane for northbound traffic entering Bong Bong Common from Moss Vale Road at the intersection of Cecil Hoskins Access Track and are programmed to begin on 13 October 2025.

The improvements will provide improved traffic flow and safer access from the new additions to Bong Bong Common. Design for the intersection has been completed and approved by Transport for NSW (TfNSW). The Principal Construction Contractor is renowned TfNSW pre-qualified construction company - Fulton Hogan Pty Ltd
