Financial Strategy

The Operational Plan and Budget 2026/27, Fees and Charges, Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Management Strategy adopted at the 17 June Ordinary Meeting are to position Council for long-term financial sustainability, providing a clear financial roadmap that enables the delivery of the community’s aspirations as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan, and supports the implementation of the Council’s Delivery Program 2025-2029.

As part of this item, Council endorsed the following public exhibitions:

• Public exhibition of the revised Delivery Program 2025-2029, including an addendum reflecting the two financial scenarios and associated infrastructure (roads and building) works for a minimum of 60 days.
• Public exhibition of the draft Cost Containment and Productivity Plan for a minimum of 60 days.
