A Local Environmental Plan (LEP) is a statutory document prepared in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act 1979), and Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulations 2000 and approved by the Minister for Planning and Environment.
Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 (WLEP 2010) was prepared in accordance with the Department of Planning & Environment's Standard Instrument and came into force on 16 June 2010, replacing the previous 1989 LEP.
LEP Amendments
LEPs are amended by means of a Planning Proposal. The Department of Planning, Industry & Environment's website contains helpful information on the LEP amendment process which may be viewed here.
