MVCG MEGA SPRING SALE

Moss Vale Community Garden is holding its Mega Spring Sale again this year, bigger than ever!  We've been busy over the quieter winter months seed raising and propagating in preparation. 

Plants /seedlings for sale:

• Large range of organic heirloom tomato, lettuce, squash, herbs etc seedlings

• Unusual edible tubers like yacon, arrowroot, daylilies

• Edible groundcovers - lebanese cress, violets, warrigal greens, lamb's lettuce

• Compost accelerator herbs - comfrey, yarrow

• Fruiting trees and vines - plums, figs, elderberry, grapes

• Berries – a variety

• Flowering plants – bulbs and perennials, succulents

• 'Preservative-free' Preserves made from local fruit & vegies

• Worm doo doos

• Great Raffle prizes: Worm farm, Glazed Pots with bulbs or perennial flowers (windflowers or flowering daffodils), a basket full of seedlings, jams. books, seed packets)

• At 11am and again at 1pm our knowledgeable volunteers will give tips on seed sowing directly to garden in our frosty climate - great for newcomers to the area!!!
