Forest Bathing: Steel City Strings Concert

Named after the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku about the healing power of nature, the concert invites you to immerse yourself in music shaped by nature's serenity, wildness, mystery, and spiritual richness.

With works by Pulitzer Prize winning Caroline Shaw, Australia's favourite composer Elena Kats-Chernin, local bassist and composer Adrian Whitehall, and two powerful World Premieres by internationally recognised saxophonist and composer Katia Beaugeais and emerging composer Gabriel Frømyhr, we hope to offer a space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect.
