MyInspect + Civil, Building and Plumbing Inspections

Inspections can only be carried out if ALL mandatory documentation has been received by the Council as per the Notice of Determination.

Documents must be emailed to development.support@wsc.nsw.gov.au.

Inspections can only be booked once ALL mandatory documents are received via email.

Documents required are:

Plumbing Inspections - Small scale development (dwellings, sheds etc)

• Site plan
• Floor plan for water and sewer
• Stormwater plan, indicating tanks (if any) and discharge point.  If disposed onsite to indicate type and location of disposal field and may require hydraulic calculations and design certificate
• OSD calculations if over 10%
• Owners consent

Plumbing Inspections - Large scale developments (units, commercial, industrial) etc

• Site plans
• Floor plan (for water and sewer)
• Hydraulic plans and design certificate for stormwater, sanitary drainage, water services and fire services
• OSD calculations if over 10%
• Owners consent

Building Inspections

• Notice of Commencement
• Frame and truss details
• Engineering details for the slab
• HBCF (Home Builders Compensation Fund) or Owner Permit

Solid Fuel Heater

• Floor indicating location of the solid fuel heater to scale
• Elevation plans indicating chimney/fuel to scale
• Solid fuel heater manufactures installation specifications
• Manufacturers certificate of compliance, referencing AS2918-2108 and AS4013-2014 must have a valid date

Approval to Install or Alter an Onsite Sewerage Management System

• Site plan
• Waste water management report
• Plan indicating location of tank and effluent management area (EMA), setbacks to buildings and any drainage depressions/water courses
• Manufacture specifications and NSW Health Accreditation (not for septic tanks) - must have a valid date
• Owners consent

Approval to Operate an Onsite Sewerage Management System

• Site plan indicating distance to boundaries, existing buildings, tank location and effluent management area (EMA) type, location
• if AWTS (aerated wastewater treatment systems) servicing and contractor details
• Owners consent

No. Inspections cannot be carried out until all Mandatory documents are provided.

Yes. If applications have been lodged before 1 October 2025, all inspections will be required to be booked and paid for before the inspection. 

Our team will guide you through the booking process and take payment over the phone.

No. Any applications lodged on the NSW Planning Portal on/or after 1 October 2025, included inspection charges at the time of lodgement.

Important: These exclude any applications relating to subdivisions. Inspections payment would be still be required for Subdivision applications at the time of booking your inspection.

You MUST pay for your inspections over the phone at the time of booking. If you require a re-inspection an additional charge will apply and require payment at time of booking.

If your application was lodged on/after 1 October 2025, your inspections charges were included at the time of lodgement.

Yes. A reinspection will attract an additional charge which must be made at time of booking. 

We are currently unable to guarantee a same day/next business day bookings.
