Funding opportunities for a range of programs that benefit the Wingecarribee community are available through the next round of Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Community Financial Assistance Program and will remain open until 31 March 2026.

Round one recipients, announced in October 2025, received over $130,000 across 39 local organisations. The full list of recipients and their projects can be viewed on Council’s grants and funding page.

Almost $160,000 in funding is available for the current round in the following five categories:

  • Community Grants: ($1,000–$5,000) for community-led projects and initiatives.
  • Kick Starter Grants ($250–$1,000) for small-scale and grassroots projects.
  • Small Halls Activation Grants (up to $1,000) to encourage greater use of local halls.
  • Community Event Sponsorship ($500–$10,000) for events that foster connection and celebrate local life.
  • Destination Event Sponsorship (in-kind support) to boost the local visitor economy.

To be eligible, applicants will need to demonstrate clear community benefit and alignment with the Wingecarribee 2035 Community Strategic Plan. For program guidelines, eligibility criteria, and to apply, visit: Grants and Funding Opportunities

Applications close midnight on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 and will be determined by 15 April 2026.
