Greater Mount Alexandra Reserve

Announcement

To help address vertebrate pest populations, Council is working with National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to undertake vertebrate pest control in the northern sections of Greater Mount Alexandra Reserve. An aerial shoot will be run by NPWS. The vertebrate pest control will occur during the following dates: Monday 13th of May 2023, 6:00am to Friday 24th of May 2024, 7:00pm.

Partial reserve closure - Greater Mount Alexandra Reserve

To help address vertebrate pest populations, Council is working with National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to undertake vertebrate pest control in the northern sections of Greater Mount Alexandra Reserve. An aerial shoot will be run by NPWS.

The vertebrate pest control will occur during the following dates:

From: Monday 13 May 2023 at 6:00am

To: Friday 24 May 2024, 7:00pm.

During this time this section of Greater Mount Alexandra Reserve will be closed. Temporary signage will also be installed within the reserve to advise visitors which section/s of the reserve are closed. See below map for details of the area that will be closed during this time.
