Bundanoon Community Association (Inc)

We are Bundanoon's Community Association, known as the BCA.

We provide opportunities and activities for residents and friends of Bundanoon.

Our signature events are the annual Winterfest celebration in July and the Garden Ramble in October.

We manage the Bundanoon Soldiers' Memorial Hall, one of the finest halls in the Shire. It is available for hire.

Through the Committee and Membership, the BCA also provides well-regarded advice and suggestions to Council and our State and Federal Members on issues that affect our village.

This is all thanks to the members of a volunteer organisation. We think that makes us special.

(Just some of) what we do

Winterfest – a celebration of winter in Bundanoon. Held early July with an opening festival, a week of workshops and other activities.

Garden Ramble – an annual display in late October of special gardens in and around Bundanoon. The gardens range from formal to casual, large to small and inspire locals and visitors.

JCG Magazine – a quality quarterly colour magazine delivered to all Bundanoon residences featuring local events, themes, and writers. Contributions are welcomed.

Bundanoon on Tap – shops in Bundanoon are encouraged not to sell single-use bottled water. Instead, there are water stations for refilling water bottles, filtered water in some shops and quality reusable Bundanoon on Tap branded water bottles for sale in several shops.

Arts – each month lovers of music can enjoy Music@10 bringing classical performers to the Hall. Our Grand Piano is often featured.

Cinema - four or five times a year the Hall is transformed into Rex Cinema, showing specially selected movies in an old-style cinema atmosphere.

Theatre performances including Crash Test Drama participative style theatre is organised by Melting Pot Theatre.

Participation – if you like to get together for a chat, Needles and Natter may be your cup of tea. Perhaps learn and play ukulele with the Bundanoon Ukesters or join a non-auditioned community choir with Bundanoon Sings! Would you like to join the Green Team who maintain the planter boxes in the shopping area and the daffodil beds at the town’s entrance? The Leaver Park and Glow Worm Glen groups maintain two magical parts of Bundanoon. The Hall Willing Workers set up the Hall for events. You could even join Bundanoon Pipes and Drums, our own bagpipe band!
