Composting Made Easy
On 18 June 2018 the NSW Department of Planning and Environment issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to amend Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 for certain sites supported in the Wingecarribee Local Planning Strategy 2015-2031.
The sites included in this exhibition and their intended outcomes are:
• 2A Cliff Street - Lot 50 DP556644 - Amend Schedule 1 to permit development for the purposes of a two lot residential subdivision.
• Wyeera (Bong Bong Racecourse) 460 Kangaloon Road Bowral - Lot 22 DP792646 - Rezone from E3 Environmental Management to RE2 Private Recreation.
• Mittagong Railway Station leased surplus land - Part of Lot 3907 DP 1215684 and Part of Lot 10 DP 1216346 - Rezone from SP2 Rail Infrastructure to B4 Mixed Use with a maximum height of 10 metres & a floor space ratio of 0.5:1.
EXHIBITION DATES: The Planning Proposals are on public exhibition for a period of 31 days from Wednesday 30 January to Friday 1 March 2019.
The Planning Proposals and associated documentation may be inspected using the links below as well as viewing Council’s Customer Service Counter, Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale NSW 2577, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday during each week of the exhibition period.
Exhibition material is also available to view at the Bowral, Moss Vale and Mittagong Libraries during advertised opening hours.

All submissions must be received by Council before 4.30pm on Friday 1 March 2019 and quote file reference 5901/52.
Wingecarribee Shire Council is authorised to exercise the functions of the Minister for Planning under s.3.36 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 as have been delegated to it with regard to these Planning Proposals.
