Draft Wingecarribee Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) and draft Local Housing Strategy

On 11 March 2020, Council endorsed the draft Wingecarribee Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) and draft Local Housing Strategy for public exhibition for a period of eight (8) weeks.

The draft LSPS and Local Housing Strategy provide a 20 year land use vision for the Wingecarribee Shire, and a planning framework to meet the economic, housing, social and environmental needs of the community.

Planning Proposal - Aitken Road Heritage, Bowral


The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (NSWDPIE) has issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to amend Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 to add a new heritage item (comprising three properties) in Aitken Road, Bowral, and a new heritage conservation area in Aitken and Kangaloon Roads, Bowral.


The proposed heritage item comprises nos. 25-27, 33-37 and 39-41 Aitken Road and will be called the Aitken Road Interwar Housing Group. The proposed heritage conservation area comprises nos. 12-30 & 25-43 Aitken Road and nos. 56, 58 and 60 Kangaloon Road and will be called the Aitken Road Conservation Area.

Proposed Licence Agreement - TW McManus - Lot 13 Kirkham Street, Moss Vale 

Council has formally resolved to grant a Licence Agreement to TW McManus for occupation of Council land locked reservebeing Lot 13 in Deposited Plan 601369 for a term of five (5) years.

In accordance with Sections 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council gives notice of its intention to issue a licence over Lot 13 in Deposited Plan 601369, Kirkham Street, Moss Vale for a period of five (5) years.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
