DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO THE MOSS VALE TOWN PLAN DCP – CHELSEA GARDENS COOMUNGIE
Draft Amendments to the Moss Vale Town Plan Development Control Plan (DCP) is currently on exhibition from Wednesday 15 May to Friday 12 July 2019 (inclusive).


The draft Amendment sets out planning controls and guidelines that will be used in the design and assessment of all future development applications within the Chelsea Gardens Coomungie Urban Release Area including the subdivision, future residential and village centre developments.

All submissions must be received by Council before 4.30pm on Friday 12 July 2019 and quote file reference 5700/64.

Strategic Planning Team

Wingecarribee Shire Council’s draft Operational Plan 2019/20 including Budget, Revenue Policy and Fees and Charges is a key document outlining our budget and proposed activities for the year ahead. Please take some time to look through it and consider our proposed programs and projects, as well as the continued significant investment in asset maintenance and renewal works across the shire.


The draft Operational Plan outlines the projects, programs and activities that Council is proposing to undertake throughout the 2019/20 financial year to address the four year actions set in the Delivery Program 2017-2021.


The draft Operational Plan currently on exhibition includes:

  • information about specific projects and programs set for the financial year
  • Council’s annual Budget
  • Revenue Policy
  • Fees and Charges
  • a Funding Proposal for Regional Art Gallery contributions
  • a Capital Works Program outlining significant investment in asset maintenance, asset renewal and new asset works across the Shire.

The public exhibition period commenced on 11 April 2019 and submissions are sought by 9am, Friday 24 May 2019 for:

  • Draft Code of Conduct
  • Draft Procedures for the Administration of the Code of Conduct
  • Draft Code of Meeting Practice

Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of plans and strategies before the final versions are placed 'on exhibition' for final comment prior to adoption by Council.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
