Proposed Road Closure off Part Unformed Road Reserve, Barrallier Road, Goodmans Ford


In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council proposes to close the Council Public Road in Schedule 1.

Upon closure of the road reserve, Council intends to sell the land to the adjoining land owner.

All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to the General Manager, Wingecarribee Shire Council, PO Box 141 Moss Vale NSW 2577, within twenty eight (28) days of the date of this advertisement. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.


Once the submission period is completed, Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.


Please Note: If any objection is raised during the public exhibition period a final report will be taken back to Council for determination. But if no objection is received during the public exhibition period, the General Manager and Mayor have been delegated authority to finalise the road closure.

Draft Walking Tracks Strategy

The Draft Strategy provides guidance on the walking tracks at 16 Council owned or managed bushland reserves with authorised walking tracks. It identifies and categorises walking track difficulty level, along with a comprehensive strategy and action plan for future works.


Background research, on-ground trail auditing, mapping and extensive stakeholder consultation was completed earlier in 2020 which has informed development of the draft now exhibited.

Draft Signage DCP Amendments
www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/draft-development-control-plans-or-amendments-on-exhibition

Council resolved on 26 August 2020 to exhibit draft development control plan provisions with regard to signage and outdoor advertising.


The purpose of these draft amendments is to provide new controls for digital advertising, as well as update current provisions to ensure that they are consistent with the Exempt and Complying State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) and SEPP64 which addresses signage and outdoor advertising.
The draft provisions are on public exhibition from Wednesday 1 September to Wednesday 30 September 2020.

as well as at Council's Customer Service Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale during opening hours. 


You are invited to inspect the draft provisions and may make a submission online or as outlined in right column. A submission objecting to any provisions must clearly state the reasons for objection. Submissions should quote file 5700.


Submissions must be received by 4.30pm on Wednesday 30 September 2020.

Fees and Charges for Renwick Community Centre

Landcom have been responsible for the design and construction of the Renwick Community Centre which is nearing completion.


Ownership of the land and building will be transferred to Council for ongoing maintenance and management.
Council is now exhibiting a Schedule of Hire Fees for use of the hall and meeting rooms. Revenue generated will provide a funding source for facility management and the provision of consumables.

Declaration to Accompany Planning Submissions


From 1 October 2008 the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 requires the disclosure of political donations and gifts when making submissions in respect of planning matters. 

Include Form 1 with your submission, even if your answer on that form is 'no'. If your answer is 'yes', you will also need to complete and lodge Form 2 with your submission.
