Collection Days


Find out when your collection day is by doing the Collection Day Search.


When is my collection day


Please ensure that you place your bin out for collection the night before your designated collection day. This assists in reducing missed bin services.


Download the Waste Collection Calendaror pick up a paper version from Council's Customer Service Centre, or the Resource Recovery Centre in Moss Vale.

Bin Services


There are a range of bin sizes and collection options available for your waste and recycling. 


Bin Service options

Residents with a fortnightly red-lidded bin collection can also opt to downsize to a 140Lt yellow lidded recycling bin. This is ideal for people who don't have much waste or recycling.

Missed Bins


Bin not collected? Please contact our Customer Service Centre on

4868 0888. Calls received before 12.00 noon can be collected on the same day, any calls after 12.00 noon will be collected the following day.


Reduce the risk of a missed service by ensuring that you place your bin out for collection the night before your designated collection day.

General Waste


Waste Bin


All residents within the shire receive a regular waste collection service of your red lidded bin for general waste.

All residents in the Wingecarribee Shire Council area receive a fortnightly recycling service which is collected in the yellow lidded bin.

Garden Organics


Organics Green Waste


A garden organics collection service is provided for residents and is collected on the same day of the week as your general waste collection, and on alternate weeks to your recycling collection.

Council Clean-Ups


Council Cleanups
Clean-ups occur on set dates for each part of the shire. The service must be booked and paid for in advance.

If one or all of your bins are stolen, please contact Wingecarribee Shire Council on 02 4868 0888 and we will be able to assist you. Alternatively, you can notify us
