Status Notes


Closed: When Council has closed the grounds any Clubs or Schools using the fields will be liable for the full cost of repairs and may lose their agreement with Council.

Restrictions/Caution: When Council has deemed the grounds open with Restrictions, Council requires Clubs or Schools (including referees and/or coaches) to make their own assessment as to the suitability of the grounds prior to their use, having regard for the following:

  • The potential for injury to players.
  • The sport played and the potential for damage to the playing surface.
  • The weather.
  • The condition of the ground when inspected.


If the grounds are assessed as unsuitable for the intended use - they must not be used and their condition reported to Council immediately.



User Agreement


Users agree that by proceeding to use the sports ground they have undertaken their own assessment of the suitability of the ground and are aware of any or all inherent risks associated with the activities they propose to undertake and in doing so indemnify Council from any loss, damage or liability associated with that use.
