Overview of Council's waste and recycling services, including domestic waste collection, commercial waste collection and the Resource Recovery Centre (waste disposal facility).

The Resource Recovery Centre is open from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, on Sundays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on public holidays.

Council provides bulky waste clean up collection to residents who have a council domestic waste service.

Green Caffeen

Green Caffeen is a swap and go reusable coffee cup system offered to local businesses in the Southern Highlands to reduce single-use coffee cups.

Household Chemical CleanOut

The Household Chemical CleanOut event is held once a year, with the 2023 event to be held on Sunday 21 May. On the day residents can drop off their unwanted household chemicals free of charge at Council's Moss Vale Works Depot.
