Planning Proposal - 107 Kangaloon Road Bowral

On 17 May 2018 the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (NSWDPE) issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to amend Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 to rezone land at 107 Kangaloon Road Bowral from R2 Low Density Residential to SP1 Special Activities and to remove the minimum lot size of 700m2.


The effect of this amendment will enable Council to extend the Bowral cemetery on to this land. 


The Proposal is now exhibited in accordance with the NSWDPE Gateway requirements and submissions sought from the community.


EXHIBITION DATES: The exhibition of the Planning Proposal ended on Friday 20 July 2018


The Planning Proposal will be reported to Council as soon as practicable after the close of the exhibition period, taking into account submissions received.

DELEGATION: Wingecarribee Shire Council is authorised to exercise the functions of the Minister for Planning under s.3.36 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 as have been delegated to it with regard to this Planning Proposal.
