Berrima Reserve

Berrima River Reserve is located adjacent to Wingecarribee River on Oxley Street, Berrima and includes camping facilities.

The campgrounds are a five minute walk from the historic Berrima Village.

Berrima River Reserve offers a range of facilities including children's play areas, public toilets, cold showers, barbecue areas, picnic tables, structures for shade and shelter, bushwalking, grey water pump out, and fishing.

Bushfire Danger Rating Status

The Berrima River Reserve Camping Area may be closed depending on the current bushfire danger rating from the Rural Fire Service for the Illawarra/Shoalhaven district. Please refer to the RFS website for the current fire danger rating.

Please note that the rating below overrides any general facility opening status shown due to wet weather etc.

Berrima River Reserve Camping Area

There is a maximum stay of two nights per visit. A fee of $18 per night per site applies. No fires are permitted.

There is a maximum of 5 people per site and one tent or one van per site. One visit per 4-week period is permitted and maximum vehicle length is 13m.

Camp only in marked camp sites in a vehicle, tent, caravan, campervan, or trailer and leave your campsite tidy and take all rubbish with you when you leave. Be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Generators are not permitted.

Dogs on a leash are permitted, but they must be under effective control. 

Setting up of portable showers and toilets and the discharge of grey water onto the ground is prohibited.
