Exeter Village Hall exterior view 2023

Wingecarribee Shire Council has a number of halls and venues available for hire that are suitable for a variety of functions such as private parties, weddings, concerts, children's birthday parties, arts and crafts groups, exercise sessions, community meetings, and seminars.

Links to information about each facility can be found in the venues list at the bottom of this page.

As of May 2023, community members can book many of Council's facilities online, including halls and sports grounds.

Online booking requests can be made from each applicable hall's webpage found in the venues list below or via the 'Online Booking Request' links on this page.

Where relevant, your application for hire may need to include supporting evidence of your organisation's status (e.g. commercial or not-for-profit).

Applications for hire must be made by persons over 18 years of age. The person on-site to manage your event (if different to the applicant) must also be over 18 years of age.

Halls for hire through Council's Bookable platform

Online bookings for the following halls and community centres are now managed via the Bookable online bookings platform:

  • Loseby Park Hall
  • Mittagong Community Centre
  • New Berrima Hall
  • Renwick Community Centre
  • Sutton Forest Hall

Council requires all hirers to be registered and logged in before making a booking. Depending on your customer type, your registration may need to be verified by Council and require supporting evidence (e.g. proof of commercial or not-for-profit status).

The person making an online booking request is the "hirer" and is responsible for the booking and payment of fees.

A number of video tutorials are available below to demonstrate how to use Bookable.
