More about this event

Join us for our first ever online Learn Safe Workshop scheduled for Wednesday 29th July at 6:00pm.

It’s a FREE 2 hour Workshop held by Wingecarribee Shire Council's Road Safety Officer to give you practical advice and to help you guide your learner to become a safer driver.

Research suggests that a reduction in crashes in the first few years of driving can be achieved if learner drivers have a large amount of supervised on-road driving experience. The Workshop should increase your:

  • Confidence in supervising learner driver;
  • Understanding the importance of on-road driving experience;
  • Understanding of the learner driver log book;
  • Understanding how to encourage safe driving behaviour in the learner driver; and
  • Understanding of the licencing conditions for learner and provisional licence holders.

Registration is essential.

  1. Complete the registration form. Registrations close Wednesday 22nd July 2020.
  2. A Learn Safe Workshop Resource (you will need this to participate in the Workshop) will be posted to your home during the week of 22nd July 2020.
  3. During this same week you will receive an email with a link and instructions to help you get onto Teams to participate in the online Workshop.
  4. The Learn Safe Teams Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday 29th July at 6:00pm from the comfort and safety of your own home.
