More about this event

Operating on the South Coast of NSW, Australia on Yuin Country, Est. 2011, Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness is an Aboriginal owned and operated Cultural service provider helping the wider community understand koori culture.

NNCA facilitate cultural awakenings in the Tourism, Corporate, Event and Education sectors with a range of services to help ensure that traditional koori cultural ways of knowing get delivered in South Eastern Australia.

For our third year running Wingecarribee Shire Council in partnership with Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness would like to offer Aboriginal Culture Awareness training, that seeks to increase awareness of cultural difference to help ensure our working relationships are as effective as they can be.

Training will:

  • Provide an introduction and understanding of the culture of people we interact with.
  • The most appropriate ways of respecting and accommodating people in work interaction.
  • Create a basic understanding and awareness of Aboriginal culture, community and history
  • Assist in ‘closing the gap’ between Aboriginal community and Non-Aboriginal society.

Morning tea and Lunch provided.
