Plastic-Free Bathroom Workshop

Examples of products that you can buy to avoid buying plastic including toothbrushes and reusable coffee cups.

Are you ever overwhelmed by the thought of how difficult it may be to use less plastic? Does the convenience of using plastic around your home make you think how much of an impact your contributing?

During Plastic Free July, Wingecarribee Shire Council will hold several waste education workshops to help people learn how to go plastic free while and participating in some fun activities.

Have you ever taken note of how much plastic products you use in the morning? Whether you're in and out in five minutes, or you have a beauty routine more complicated than open-heart surgery, you'll probably have several preferred products you turn to each day.

Let us show you how you can make easy changes that will most definitely reduce your use of plastic. DIY activities include learning how to make an indulgent bath salt filled with essential oils and natural fragrance and a coconut coffee sugar scrub.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please contact Waste Education Officer if you have any special dietary requirements.

All participants will get to take home DIY goodies.
