The 2023 Seniors Festival with the theme "Celebrate Together" is being held from Wednesday 1 February to Sunday 12 February 2023.

The Seniors Festival provides an opportunity for seniors to develop new skills, meet people with similar interests and find out how they can get involved with other events throughout the year. It features a range of free events for older people living in the Wingecarribee Shire.

Bookings:

Event bookings will open at 9 am on 4 January 2023. Tickets can be booked online, by phone, or in person. Please contact our Community Development Officer on 02 4868 0888 for more information.

All events are free or entry via gold coin donation.

Events Spanning Multiple Dates in February:

Some events are not listed in the 2023 Seniors Festival calendar below as they span multiple dates throughout February. These include:

No Time to Spare, Southern Highlands: A photographic exhibition at Moss Vale featuring works by Southern Highlands photographers. This is a free exhibition at the Moss Vale Civic Centre running from 16 January 2023 until 24 February 2023.

Men's and Women's Sheds Open Days: Men's and women's sheds in the Shire will hold regular visitor open days throughout February. Please check this page for details of open days and opening times for Bowral Men’s Shed, Bundanoon Men’s Shed, Colo Vale Village Men's Shed, Mittagong Men’s Shed Inc, Moss Vale Men’s Shed, and Robertson Men's and Women's Shed.

Free Entry Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre: The Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is offering free pool entry to seniors for the duration of the 2023 Seniors Festival. Water and land-based fitness classes and swimming lessons are also available.

Video Commission Exhibition & Ngununggula Gallery Tours: An exhibition featuring four pairs of contemporary Australian artists including Kate Blackmore & Diana Baker Smith, James Vaughan & Tom Polo, Matthew Griffin & Heath Franco, and Tony Albert & Serwah Attafuah. You can view these artists' work for the duration of the 2023 Seniors Festival at Ngununggula Regional Gallery from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday-Sunday, with daily tours from 11:00 am.
