The Southern Highlands has large intact vegetation corridors and patches of bushland on public and private land. This vegetation provides habitat for our local fauna as well as threatened flora and threatened ecological communities. Hedges

Wingecarribee Shire Council has resolved to work with the community group Hedgewise with an aim to introduce planning provisions through NSW Department of Planning to control the height of hedge plantings in our area.
