Council's Environment and Sustainability Branch has received a number of awards for excellence in environment and sustainability programs and projects.

The Environment is involved in a number of ongoing conservation projects to protect our Shire's flora and fauna, including projects related to koala conservation, roadside environmental management, habitat and wildlife guardianship and sustainability.

Received for the Southern Highlands Koala Conservation Project.
