Land for Wildlife Expression of Interest Form

Land for Wildlife members at Berrima in 2019.

The Land for Wildlife voluntary program aims to help landholders look after natural vegetation on their lands.

Interested landholders should complete the Expression of Interest form at the bottom of this page. Once we receive your application, your suitability for the program will be assessed following a land inspection.

Council assists Land for Wildlife members with property inspections by expert ecologists and advice on how to manage the natural areas on your land. We can also provide information about financial incentives available to help landholders protect native vegetation and animal habitats.

Land for Wildlife members receive:
  • Free property visit and report from an expert ecologist
  • Plant species lists for your property
  • A suite of mapping products
  • Eligibility for $2,000/year Conservation Partners Grant funding for bush regeneration, weeding, fencing, pest animal control, and erosion control
  • A sign for your front fence
  • Wingecarribee Web e-newsletter
