Sustainable Wingecarribee

Sustainability means different things to different people. It can be described as the integration of environmental, social, economic and governance goals, processes and performances. However, these dimensions are not always in harmony.

The broader definition used in developing Wingecarribee 2031+ was: 

“Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” Our Common Future, Brundtland 1987.
