One of Council’s functions is to regulate development within the Shire in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 and other associated policies and directions from the New South Wales Government. Council needs to ensure developments find the right balance between protecting the environment, supporting a healthy local economy and providing effective access to community services and infrastructure.
Inspections:
For all development applications lodged after 1 July 2022, inspections are ‘pay as you go’ and have not been included in your Fee Quote.
A request for payment will be made after receiving a MyInspect booking request, payment is required to confirm this booking.
Inspection requests made after 3 pm for an inspection the next day will be processed as a same-day inspection request and will attract an additional fee. By submitting a MyInspect application you are acknowledging this and accept the additional fee. Inspections are held Monday to Friday.
